Just perfect. Imagine having a long and exciting day in iceland and a warm hot tub+cold beer is waiting for you. The hut is very clean and contains everything that you need. Stay at least 2 nights, better 3 or 4, you wont regret it. There is much to explore. Our WiFi didnt work, at one moring and the owner fixed it right away, thumps up for that.

The owner of the property greeted us upon arrival and introduced the facilities. He kindly allowed us to wash our car dirty from muddy roads which was very much appreciated.

We had a great stay! The self check in was easy, the house on the main street of Holmavik. We had reserved a room with shared bathroom but we were the only guests on the main floor so it was as it was private. The room was spacious with really comfy double bed. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. No flaws to be found.

Set in Hólmavík, Steinhúsið features a bar. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.
