We're especially grateful for the generous sharing of their farm produce - the vegetables, rice, soy sauce, and BBQ sauces were all incredibly fresh and delicious. The hosts are very lovely. They have bbq facility on site (1500 yen fee) which I highly recommend! It’s nice to have outdoor bbq. However, keep in mind that you will need to bring your own ingredients. To access this accomodation you will require a car as it is a bit far from the downtown.

Top ryokan with beautiful shared and private onsen. The breakfast and meal were really good and large. It’s definitely worth paying extra for the meal. The town has so many beautiful walks and looks great in blossom season.

The staff was very friendly and welcomed us. They put so much effort, we felt well treated. We loved the food so much, it was the best and premium food! They even took care of our allergies!

It was super cosy and they provide yukatas for you to wear area the property. The Onsen had an indoor and outdoor one, and I really enjoyed it! The dining was amazing, you get a private area for breakfast with everything beautifully prepared (it’s done with so much finesse and love). I highly recommend the dinner Omakase too, it was such a great experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming down to Komagane. You can take the bus from the JR train station and it stops right outside the hotel. Was so happy I chose this place to stay for 2 nights. :)

Hotel Fuki no Mori is a 20-minute ride from JR Nagiso Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle. Guests can enjoy walks at the garden or the scenic areas surrounding the hotel.

A beautiful luxury hotel set in forest outside Tsumago, with hotel shuttle bus access. Everything was perfect- from the warm welcome, being conducted to our room, shown the onsen and dining room, where breakfast and dinner were exceptional (in Keisei style and well worth the additional charge). It was a most relaxing stay after our Magome to Tsumago walk- 6 hours in drenching rain- but still very beautiful to be again on this marvellous walk.

Mokki STARDUST GLAMPING, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Achi, 8.3 km from Ichiban Shimizu, 27 km from Otsumago, as well as 27 km from Kotoku-ji Temple.
