Royal desert camp offers accommodation in Al Raka. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Location is secluded, away from others, and much inside the desert. So you really get to feel living in the middle of a desert. The owner, Idris, is very humble and helpful with everything. The caretaker, Irfan, knew Hindi and possesses immense knowledge about the desert and Oman, he was a perfect guide for us. Don't miss the sunset walk with Irfan, once you reach the end on the other side and see the wadi, it's beautiful. They can also arrange for barbeque and bonfire if you like. Food is a little expensive, but then they have to go to the town to fetch most of the things, hence its justified.

I liked the quality of the food and bed, most important for me. The top floor pool is lovely. Beautiful view. The team is wonderful, Anthony from restaurant and all from Coffee shop Dates and Co were lovely. Well done!

Our Highlight was the dinner, finishing with the bonfire.

Set in Salalah, 3.9 km from Sultan Qaboos Mosque, Salalah International Hotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. The room was VERY clean. We could check in as soon as we got to the hotel. The location is really nice, it's opposite a mall and there are many little shops where you guy buy shawarma, fresh juices, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even gave us tips on where to go..
