The bungalow is beautiful, lovely decor and furniture. It is spacious and very well equipped. Two big bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was great 15 min walk into town but also 20 min walk to the wineries so no driving needed. The host lives in another bungalow on site so was available if needed.

We absolutely loved staying at the George! It was exceptionally well run, with super helpful and lovely staff. The welcome from Tracy was amazing - we were made to feel truly special - and the breakfasts cooked by Linda every morning were wonderful. It was so nice to have a home-cooked, healthy, fresh hot breakfast every day and the choice of options was great. The team could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The property itself is beautiful, and has clearly been sensitively and tastefully restored. The rooms are very well provisioned and I can honestly say that the bed linen was the softest and most comfortable I've ever slept in. The location is great too - an easy walk from the centre of Napa, and the staff had lots of great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. It's not cheap, but I would say it was well worth the money. Would definitely stay again.

An incredible 3 night stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful house dating back to 1903 we were told. Large room, bathroom and everything we needed. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We really appreciated the small touches such as wine tastings and local cheeses every evening between 5.30 and 6.30pm. This was an opportunity to chat with the host and other guests if we wanted. We absolutely loved it! Whenever we return to Napa we will stay at 1801 First Luxury Inn.

One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. So clean and everything even better than the website claimed. 10/10 Would absolutely recommend.

Much thanks to our new friend, Dulce, who was not only most helpful, but she was pleasant and kind and generous with her time and attentiveness. We had to leave for a 6 AM flight so we were going to miss breakfast. What Dulce did is pack us breakfast bags with muffins, juices and treats and kept them in the refrigerator for us to pick up and take with us. She did not need to do that and it was something I will not forget. Highly recommend Candlelight Inn. A little old-fashioned but clean and lovely with a fire in the fireplace and cookies and brownies every evening. 10/10.
