Everything! The view was spectacular. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and my sleep was amazing.

We had the most incredible experience staying at a charming homestay nestled in the heart of Vietnam's rice fields. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the lovely family who owned the homestay. Their genuine kindness made us feel like we were part of their own family. The homestay itself was a peaceful sanctuary, surrounded by rice terraces stretching as far as the eye could see. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, with the vibrant fields contrasting beautifully with the clear blue sky. The family took great care in making sure we felt at home, offering traditional Vietnamese meals that were absolutely delicious. We had the chance to join them in the kitchen and learn how they prepared their dishes, an experience I will never forget. Every meal felt like a celebration of the region’s flavors, from the freshest vegetables to the most aromatic herbs. We also had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area with the family. They took us on a scenic walk through the rice terraces, sharing stories about their farming traditions and the history of the region. It was a beautiful and educational experience, and I truly felt connected to the land and its people. This homestay was more than just a place to stay, it was a chance to immerse ourselves in the authentic beauty of rural Vietnam while meeting people from all over the world. Perfect accomodation if you are visiting MU cang chai, the owner and his family are so welcoming and always attending your needs. They even helped me in filming with drones and videos in Raspberry hill. Just prepare vietnamese translation, then the communication will never be a problem. The location is also perfect! very close to the main attraction! I have made great videos with their help! I have lost my money purse in the rice terraces and the community was willing to help, they are very nice and honest people. I rarely make great review to booking.com. but this homestay deserves a positive compliment.

We had the privilege of staying at A Su Homestay in Mu Cang Chai for a couple of nights, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Vietnam. Nestled amidst the breathtaking terraced rice fields for which the region is famous, the homestay offered not only a stunning view but also a genuine cultural immersion that we will never forget. What made our stay exceptional was having A Su as both our host and guide. His knowledge and passion for Hmong culture shone through in every interaction. He introduced us to the rich traditions of his community, sharing stories and teaching us about their way of life. One of the most unique experiences was learning to play the Qeej, a traditional Hmong bamboo flute. While it was challenging, A Su’s father patient instruction made it so much fun, and it deepened our appreciation for the Hmong people's artistry and music. We were also honored to share dinner with his lovely family each evening. The meals were not only delicious—featuring fresh, local ingredients—but also a true reflection of Hmong culinary traditions. Sitting together with his family, listening to their stories, and laughing over shared moments made us feel like part of the community, even if just for a short time. Mu Cang Chai itself is a stunning destination, but staying with A Su elevated our experience to something truly unforgettable. If you’re looking to go beyond the surface and connect with the people and culture of this beautiful region, I can’t recommend A Su Homestay enough.
