There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

Across the street and 1/2 block from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This place is a real find. Well constructed, modern and super clean. Covered porch with comfy chairs and a dining table. Perfectly appointed studio cabin with a well equipped full kitchen. A/C. Screened windows. Queen size bed. The back covered porch has a full size washer and clothes line. A real plus for Aitutaki is the strong free wifi. Your delightful host, Kura, will pick you up at the airport and take you to the grocery store if you need it. You can walk to the main small town but renting a scooter or car will let you explore this stunning island. Highly recommended.

Great, comfortable and quiet place to stay in Aitutaki. We literally had the beach for ourselves. The bungalow has everything you could ask for. We felled great from the first minute after our arrival. There are a few nice restaurants around where one can enjoy a good breakfast and dinner with an amazing view of the lagoon. The property provides bicycles, which can be used to explore the island. A very big 'Thank You' to Mere for being such a fantastic, friendly and welcoming host. We were rather sad to leave ... I guess that is a good sign. I hope we will be back sometime soon.

My parents spent a wonderful 5-day, 4-night trip here. It was an unforgettable journey, featuring not only world-class ocean views and lagoons, but also an extremely thoughtful and friendly host. The host provided airport transfers and even took them to the supermarket. During their stay, perhaps due to the intense heat, my mother felt unwell. The host not only provided emergency medication but also drove them to the hospital, reminded my mother to drink plenty of water, and even gave them two coconuts. Every day was filled with the host's heartfelt care. We are extremely grateful.

Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our stay was perfect made the experience unforgettable. The property itself is a slice of paradise. Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special. Everything was above and beyond. The outdoor showers were awesome. Great snorkeling out front. Close to a couple places to eat . Can rent Escooters onsite which was awesome. We stayed 3 nights , then 2 nights in One Foot Island and now 2 nights elsewhere on island....I wish we had returned to Etu Moana

The villa was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. The air conditioning worked well. View of the lagoon and the surf breaking over the reef was spectacular. Mark, our host, lent us his car (competative price) and also took us out to One Foot Island in his skiff. A much better choice than a larger boat with many tourists. On the premises is a great little restaurant and food store. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The menu was versatile with vegan options. The mango smoothies were great to quench our thirst during the hot summer days on Aitutaki. Overall--a great place to stay if you like to avoid the resort crowd and actually meet the locals.
