In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

Not only because of the food, it was very good and gluten free for me, which can be complicate sometimes, but mostly because of the mother. The is a beautiful soul, full of love and kindness. We didn't have luck and it rained most of the time so we were glad that the house was so welcoming and well appointed for staying in. Definitively worth to go through these tricked ways arriving here and feeling like you're coming home. The neighbors are respectful of your privacy and it's nice to have people around just in case. You won't miss anything in Cynthia's home. So very grateful for all your kindness and care, looking forward for a next time!

You have all you need for a nice stay (kitchen with all the utensils and a bathroom with nice shower). Internet is fast.
