This is an authentic place to be in the villages in Cyprus. We loved the nature, the intimacy, the stone house and terrace, with the loving cats around. The host is very friendly, we had everything we needed the entire staying. We were surspised by the fireplace available, definitely a highlight. The beds and the light were perfect. We had coffee and rose and mountain tea. Small details that matter. Also the lovely garden with fresh salad was nice to have. The bathroom is a bit small, but this is a compromise worth to be taken. Situated in Askas, 23 km from Adventure Mountain Park and 41 km from Sparti Adventure Park, Tina's Country Home features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The property is non-smoking and is located 43 km from Amathus. Tina is a very lovely and warm person. She made sure that we had a very nice stay and had everything that we needed. The home is so beautiful that you find something new to admire all the time. It is clear that a lot of love and effort has been put in this home. The fridge was full of food so we didn't even have to get groceries straight away (breakfast foods like eggs, cheeses, hams, milk, bread, juice, flour etc.) During our stay 5 kittens also hanged out with us outside. We named them all:D You can find their names in the guest book:). Ps! If you are coming without a car it is not very easy to go to places. We did walk to Palaichoiri (about 30-40 min walk). It was a lovely walk in the mountains (picture of mountains taken on the walk). There is also a minibus that drives there. It is the nearest village where they have a small grocery shop and a bit more coffee shops/restaurants but Askas also has restaurants and coffee shops. However they were not all open everyday during our stay. Staying at Tinas country house was lovely. You will feel like royalty as it is so beautiful.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Maria's Apartments. I was a bit concerned about the access to the apartment by car, as I had read some comments saying it was hard to find. However, we received clear instructions from Mrs. Maria, and if you follow them, the apartment is not difficult to locate. We were very happy with the private parking in the courtyard, as it meant we didn’t have to carry our suitcases from a public parking lot. This is very convenient in a town like Omodos. The apartment was very clean, and Mrs. Maria had kindly left water, wine, and some chocolate for the children in the fridge. In front of the apartment, there is a terrace with a table where we enjoyed playing board games in the evening.

This was truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel like part of their family, showing genuine care and hospitality, which is so rare to find. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable, and the private balcony offered breathtaking views that made it hard to leave. Great shower, and the little touches—like homemade preserves, lemon squash, and freshly baked cookies, added so much charm to the experience. Breakfast was a highlight: served in a cozy room filled with traditional Cypriot artifacts, it was not just a meal but a cultural experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we got to hear fascinating stories about Cyprus that gave our stay even more meaning. Additionally, as we were booked to stay there for my birthday, my partner secretly arranged with the owner some balloons, flowers and a bottle of wine, which were waiting for me as we arrived at the property. Wonderful surprise. This place is an absolute treasure, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Every detail was perfect, truly a stay to remember.

Also with a 300 meter drive there is a Bakery that have many things that fit to a perfect breakfast. The sound of the river and the green was worth it. Sure i will come again
