After a long day everything was a bit of a blur, a super friendly person at reception waited patiently while I fiddled around unburdening myself from my backpack completely out of breath from climbing the stairs into town. The hostel had proper beds (3 to a room), great showers, proper sheets and towels, with a small but perfectly adequate supermarket just around the corner. A bunch of us from all over the world ended up enjoying a staggered dinner around the table.

We had the evening meal with the host and we thought it was wonderful. Local dishes, yet great representatives of other Spanish regions. Breakfast was amazing. For us on the Camino it may have seemed a little expensive but turned out great value for money.
