It had a really good combination of privacy in our room as well as comfortable common areas that made it feel like we were just staying with the family. Nicky was able to accommodate us for the guided tour (a later start time) and I'm so glad it worked out - the tour was one of my favorite parts of the overall trip to Scotland.

Very nicely decorated and well equipped little house right in the center of Kirkwall that felt like a home from home. I had my choice of the two bedrooms and opted for the back bedroom which was wonderfully quiet with a comfy bed and choice of pillows. The welcome basket was very generous and the price for two nights was very reasonable. It is surrounded by shops and coffee places. I fully recommend this to anyone as a great option to a hotel.

Housed in a building dating from 1985, this guest house is 15 km from Standing Stones of Stenness and 10 km from Skara Brae. The property offers soundproof units and is located 15 km from Maeshowe. Big enough for our family, very complete with soap etc. makes it very convenient to stay. Rob was a very nice, welcoming, helpful host. Lots of folders and maps to borrow and explore. Everything on our list was within 15 min drive. Simply great! Wish we could have stayed longer
