The towels were soft and fresh and the house was well equipped. Marietta was easy to reach and Sir Jim took really good care of us. I highly recommend this little house to anyone who wants to add that little something extra to their vacay in Halki. 🫶

Located in Halki, within 2.1 km of Kania Beach, Althea Apartments 3 offers accommodation with air conditioning. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Ftenagia Beach is less than 1 km away. This was our second visit to Althea Apartments in Halki. This time we stayed in Althea 3 which was a beautiful, spacious, modern apartment with excellent facilities and good wifi. We had a large terrace overlooking the garden. Fran and Archie met us at the port and were so kind and helpful to us during our stay. Halki is a beautiful small island and we will definitely be returning and staying at Althea Apartments.

And there was a fantastic wiew from the veranda. 2-3 minutes to the city center and the closet grocery store.

Outdoor seating is also available at the villa. This a true gem! A fantastically situated waterfront house tastefully decorated for a serene summer vacation. The moment you settle in you immediately relax. Dipping all day in the clear turquoise waters we couldn’t ask for more. Zoe was a fantastic host.

When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. Truly exceptional place, this was our second time in the Villa and it has made its way as one of the all time favorite destinations! The family is extremely helpful, kind, and you truly feel at home. The island itself is quiet, intimate, a true hidden gem. Direct access to the clearest emerald waters is truly exceptional, simply heavenly. I am torn between recommending the place to everyone and keeping it as a secret for myself.

Guests can take in the views of the sea from the terrace, which also has outdoor furniture. The accommodation offers an air conditioning, a heating and a private bathroom. The apartment was easy to find, using Google Maps, just a 10-minute walk from the ferry port. The key was in the door for our arrival. The studio was spacious, bright, and well-ventilated, with most things needed for basic self-catering. Useful items like bottled water, oil, vinegar, and coffee were provided, which was a nice touch. There are three small supermarkets nearby, all within walking distance, and a very good bakery about five minutes away. The location is very good — central, convenient, and mostly quiet overnight. The balcony offers lovely views and is a nice spot to sit and unwind with a drink each evening. One night, there was loud party noise from the harbour that went on until after 3 a.m, fortunately the double-glazed windows did a good job of blocking most of the sound. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the pillows could be better. Sofia, the host, was polite and generally responsive when needed. Pondamos Beach was a highlight of the stay. It’s just a 10-minute walk uphill from the port and well worth the effort. If you’re planning to spend time there, bringing your own beach umbrella is a good idea, as rentals are now 3 times the price we paid 3 years ago.
