Everything, the rooms were cosy and clean, the food at the restaurant was divine, the lamb shank was lit! But by far the best was the staff from arrival with Agnes and the being advised all the best places to go by Gosha the Polish host with the most and the restaurant manager, they were all engaging, helpful and friendly, we were travelling Iceland for ten nights and this was the stand out ♥️

The holiday home is fitted with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a fridge, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

Including washer/ drier so you can do laundry while preparing a meal. Ready for a large group. Large bedroom and bathroom with shower. The bedroom opens to a deck. There may be a view. All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

On-site facilities include 2 hot tubs and a communal TV lounge. Free WiFi is available in the common areas. Very good breakfast whit self made waffle, home made jams. The diner with lamb was good, also the warm home made rubarber. There are 2 hot tubs beside the place to use. Good WiFi and very friendly waitresses.
