The elegant rooms of Villa Nottola feature ceilings with original wooden beams and brick vaults. The walls are painted in soft natural colours matching the Tuscan art furnishings. The property was just stunning, surrounded by Tuscan countryside scenery with a gorgeous building kept so well. Our apartment was huge and had aircon. The swimming pool was very big and was perfect for cooling down in the hot sun. Buffet breakfast and lovely outside dining (or inside if you prefer) for dinner watching the sunset over the hills. We ate at the villa two nights and it was very nice. Not a big selection to choose from but anything we got was good. Staff were very nice but found it hard to understand us due to language barrier. Overall, Villa Nottola was just beautiful and it really made our trip to Tuscany. Would advise to stay for minimum 3 nights and make the most of it.

The landlord was very nice, answered all requests and returned messages very promptly, thanks for his help. The room was in a great location, a ten minute walk to the city center. Especially good was the bedding in the room, the mattress and pillows were comfortable and the sheets and duvet covers and bath towels were very clean! The heating was also very hot. At this price for a room with so much care, I believe it is the first choice when visiting Siena.

The view from the pool was absolutely stunning as the sunset , and at night to look at the stars!
