We wanted to be near the port as we were going on a cruise the next day, and this was super close. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the entrance lobby has some facilities (water, coffee, etc) for guests, and the room size was good. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. There were convenience stores and cafes near by, and it was close enough to the port that we could easily walk with our suitcases the next morning.

Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Everything was amazing. The Spot a hidden gem. Outdoor onsen, great atmosphere, lounge with a great view, all supplies needed in the kitchen and more. Cabins very spacious.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. Amazing stay at this ryokan fully furnished , there was an amazing onsen in the room and 3 other onsens to use in the ryokan. The people working here are really welcoming and helpful ! Few things to know : the onsen water keeps flowing during the night which can disturb a little bit the sleep + there is a hill to go to the village but it is managable. Highly recommend for a great time in Kusatsu

Spread over a large area with a large lobby and seating area. Huge rooms decorated in a traditional and modern style. The hot Onsen bath on the balcony is great fun especially on snowy nights like the one we spent. Excellent breakfast - a large selection with dishes from Japanese and Western cuisine. Great staff that provides professional, friendly and pleasant service.

The staff at Edo Sakura were absolutely amazing, warm, welcoming, attentive, and helpful when needed! The Edo Sakura was the best part of our stay in Tokyo.
