It’s a true homestay where you live and eat with the family. The local village tour that he runs was amazing. We got to see so many things that you would miss without a local guide. He said for him it’s not a tour, it’s just going to visit his friends. The veggie noodle soup for breakfast was my favorite.

The central location in the heart of the market was a lovely experience - being able to watch the locals going about their daily lives from the balcony and rooftop terrace was fascinating. The opportunity to stroll through the market and town was a highlight of our trip to Kratie. The rooms in the hotel were spotlessly clean and spacious. Alex was a great host and entertained us with his amusing stories as we chatted in the rooftop bar and restaurant. This is a lovely spot to watch the town at night and even if you’re not staying at Privada Lodge it’s well worth a visit.

A comfortable stay in a very good location. This is a charming small guesthouse with such friendly & helpful staff who are always smiling. The restaurant serves good meals for a very reasonable price. The sunsets over the Mekong are spectacular. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect right ne t to the mighty mekong. Town is 5 minutes away. The host was amazing. WiFi was super fast. Air conditioning was heaven.
