Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

Truly amazing and luxureous accommodation, very close to Wilpattu NP entrance. The villa had everything we needed and more. Very spaceous with comfortable beds. The water in the kitchen and bathrooms comes from a purification plant at the house itself. Washingmachine was helpfull and the full day safari was well arranged with a nice guide and lovely breakfast/lunch. Though the private pool was truly inviting, we didn't use it because of very bad weather. Therefor we enjoyed the beds upstairs to the max, reading and relaxing by listening to the sound of the rain on the roof. Was nice...making the best of it. Absolute highlight was Manju, the caretaker and his lovely wife. They not only prepared the nicest meals for us, but also were so caring and thoughtful. Nothing was too much for Manju, helping out where he could and making 100% sure we had everything we needed. Thank you! Kind gesture of the owner to offer us an extra night to stay, because of some floodings in the area. Because of the cyclone some roads were closed and we almost weren't able to leave (which we did anyway, arriving safe in Habarana). We wholeheartedly recommend Life of Leisure!

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the wonderful breakfast selection – it was simply delicious and had something for everyone. The staff is incredible – so friendly, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch, and you can tell that great attention is paid to every detail. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of service and comfort provided. Everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough! Truly an unforgettable experience.

The room was spaceous and clean with hot water and a rack for wet clothes. The beds were comfy and it was very quiet at night. The food offered was the best we've had in Sri Lanka so far and they tried to change the breakfast every day a little. But the best about our stay was the hospitality from Jeewa and his family. He helped us planning our stay and organised absolutely everything for us! For our trips to Sigiriya, Dambulla and Polonnaruwa he even drove us with his Tuktuk and explained everything we saw along the route. But also before we even arrived he organised our transport and told us we can count on his help for the rest of our trip. Would recommend 100%!

The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

He arranged us the best guide we had ever have in our journeys. Wasn't pushing us to buy more services and gave tips how to avoid tourist traps and in what places we don't need guides. We had great conversations together on our trips. All went smoothly.
