We had a great stay with Udara and his family being so hospitable and even decorating the place for our son's birthday and helping us find a cake. The hosts prepared us an amazing dinner, actually it was one of our highlight meals for our trip! Breakfast was nicely packed for us for our safari. We loved this place and would absolutely stay again.

Small property (only two villas) with very attentive service and fantastic manager and staff. Food was great and the surroundings are truly unique - a short trip to Yala and a short walk to the beach (although not safe to swim at the closest one - which was fine as a it was a lovely walk and view.

We were a family of 5 and I am so happy we discovered and chose Tribe Yala. It was a privilege to be here and make some wonderful memories. Located right in the middle of nature, when you arrive here there is no where to go and you would not want to it's straight out of a movie. The deluxe tent with plunge pool and roof terrace was amazing and accommodated the 5 of us without tripping over each other just fine. Dinner was lovely, breakfast was outstanding and was served on our tree top terrace which could not have been nicer and the effort was really appreciated, offered and not expected. Served after our super safari organized by Tribe with snack box, respectful driver and ranger. The staff were magnificent. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I would not hesitate to come back. This is where memories are made!

Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 27 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff was really nice and friendly. The manager arranged our safari, a tuktuk ride to see a local ceremony in the village and a car ride to Mirissa. Also, we got to see the cinnamon and fruit/vegetable garden. We had amazing homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very fair price. The room was spacious and clean. Further, the location of the hotel next to the rice fields is amazing. It's nice to go for a walk and you have a great view from the garden and balcony. We can highly recommend staying here!
