The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

Neighborhood is quieter and more real than the city center.

While my driver was running late with an unexpected stop, they waited for me on the street to guide me to the apartment. They were always accessible for any questions during our stay and provided suggestions when I asked for them. The flat is centrally located between two areas of interest, Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Very easy to walk to both. The home is very clean, has windows in every room, and is in a modern building surrounded by older traditional brick buildings in an active area full of locals.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. I didn’t expect much from the place I booked just a couple of hours before arriving. But apparently it is a place where I want to come back. The rooms and service were good, but as a traveler my expectations are quite low and I don’t really pay much attention to such things. What always matters more to me are the people, warm conversations and the shared experiences. And I got exactly that! In such a short time, I was leaving the guys as if they were my friends. Navin is the best host I’ve ever had, he showed me round the city, took us to cafes and bars, and even took me to a family celebration. Joining him on a morning temple walk was an amazing experience. He puts a lot of energy into giving his guests the best experience and is very passionate about what he does. The room was also very comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better.

The apartment itself was perfect, very clean and homely in a classic building. Facilities included hot shower (not something you can expect everywhere in Nepal) a washing machine, a well equipped kitchen and reliable internet. Bed was very comfortable. So glad I chose this cozy apartment. Great location.
