Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The homestay provides inner courtyard views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

After the hustle and bustle of the main locations in Nepal, coming to Namaste Homestay made my heart sing. the view from the room was amazing and the fresh mountain air just made so happy! Every morning i would wake up super early and look at the scenery changing from dawn to day, it was like experiencing heaven! there is a little garden where you can sit, eat, read a book and sip a cup of tea. They grow their own vegetables and herbs and it feels so good to sit in peace there. The owners are amazing good people, and when i couldn’t find a ride to go back towards Kathmandu, they gave me a moto ride to the closest town. They have a lovely family and there are always kids around that will definitely steal you a smile or a laugh or a little play! The wifi works very well. Namobuddha is reachable by an easy walk and everyone is lovely around the village. What a gem! Definitely recommended Thank you again, so much love, i will come back!

It is located less than 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka and features a shared kitchen. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Nice and clean accommodation in a quiet area in the center of Thamel. Andrew is a very friendly host taking care of the place and his guests.

Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. His guesthouse also has a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home. In the evenings, the living room transforms into a gathering spot where travelers from all over connect and share stories. If you’re traveling alone or want to experience Bhaktapur from a local’s perspective, Shekhar’s Shared Home is the perfect place.

It is set 200 metres from Kathmandu Durbar Square and features private check-in and check-out. When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. Amazing location right on Durbar square! comfortable and cosy with everything you could need including a washing machine and kitchenette. Close to many eating places and coffee spots and was so lovely sitting on the rooftop each day. Safety of the apartment was great.The hosts were amazingly helpful and so friendly and genuinely kind. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to be in the heart of the action in a great comftable apartment.
