What we loved about the camp is that it is made by a few tents and it is on a dune. The place is quiet, clean and offers a great experience. Hilal and his brother are the most exquisite hosts we could ask for - caring and attentive.

My wife and I began to consider our options as we followed a stranger in a foreign country into the empty desert to stay at a camp we weren’t sure truly existed. Sure, Oman has ridiculously low crime rate, but the possibilities of what awaited us were endless. After a 20 minute drive through bedouin camps and an empty sea of sand we were relieved to find the camp as pictured on the site. However, shortly after setting up for bed, the camp was hit by a storm which was extremely rare to the area. I stood there for 30 minutes holding the pole of the tent from inside, so it didn’t collapse on us, as the rain and wind pattered the canvas. If I could go back in time to the moment we started our journey… I would do it a million times over. Thousand Stars is a passion project started by Ali and his companion, and cared for by a truly honorable and wonderful caretaker - Sadam. It is not a 5 star resort run by a board of trustees with millions of investment dollars. It is 3 men, who put their blood sweat and tears into each and every night. We started the evening off by having tea, coffee and fruits with Ali and discussing life. Shortly after, Ali ensured we were comfortable and left us to be. We were the only couple there that night so we had the whole camp to ourselves. There are usually 2-3 tents available per night. My wife and I spent some time chatting under the moonlight, but called it early as we saw a storm approaching. Sadam was working hard to cover the dining tent with a tarp so that we could be comfortable while eating dinner. The storm came, and yes, there was a short bit of time where I had to hold the tent up but this was no fault of the camp - just nature. Despite the storm, Sadam trekked over to our tent from his to make sure we were ok. Right after the storm ended I heard the roar of a car. It was Ali again, who drove all the way back just to make sure everything was ok.

It was an unforgettable experience The host was very friendly and helped us through out to reach safely. The road drive was very safe and easy Room was spotless and the bed was very comfy With good AC and heated water Breakfast was really nice as well The place is very quiet which means u can enjoy watching the stars at night Activities available on site ( camel rides, atv, etc..)

Perfect in every possible way. Mr Saud and his stuff are wonderful, the facilities, beds are amazing. Dinner and breakfast great. The location is perfect , you feel alone and no other camps in site, extremely private and cozy. Fantastic!

Το Moon Light Camp είναι στον προορισμό Bidiyah. Μερικές μονάδες έχουν χώρο καθιστικού ή/και βεράντα. Overall setting, in the middle of the dunes, bit deeper in the desert, which we really wanted. Our tent had a perfect spot for sunrise view, and beds were very comfortable. Just behind the camp you could climb the dunes to enjoy sunset, perfect! Food was delicious, proper local, we had both dinner and breakfast there. After dinner, there was a campfire where everyone could chill around the fire and drink tea and try desert bread that beduins were making. Honestly, we are very pleased with overall experience.

Το Rashid Desert Private Camp έχει μπαλκόνι και είναι σε Badīyah σε Al Sharqiyah. Αυτό το κατάλυμα προσφέρει πρόσβαση σε βεράντα και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Campsite was amazing. Located further away from other camps, so it's quiet and you can enjoy the dunes in private. Most important - Rashid and his team does everything to make his guests comfortable. They are true hospitality professionals. Thank you!

Το Wadi Bani Khalid - Al Joud Green Hostel, που βρίσκεται σε Dawwah, προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi και θέα στον κήπο. Έχει επίσης εξωτερική πισίνα και κήπο. It was very clean, very spacious. The pool was also clean and had a lovely park for our children to play.

Το Arab desert camp είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στο βουνό και δωρεάν WiFi σε Al Raka. Θα βρείτε πλήρως εξοπλισμένο ιδιωτικό μπάνιο με μπιντέ και δωρεάν προϊόντα μπάνιου. Very sweet people, nice facilities - all in all very recommendable! Also great location

Το Salem Fish Guest House παρέχει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Al Hadd απέχει 2,5 χλμ. Really nicely decorated house with a welcoming host, we had a lovely stay at Salem’s guest house. The dinner was excellent with fresh fish and the boat ride the next day was also great, we saw dolphins and went snorkelling. We’d stay there again.

Το SandGlass Camp παρέχει καταλύματα σε Badīyah με θέα στο βουνό και έχει παροχές για μπάρμπεκιου. We were the only ones there, it was awesome! Great guide too
