The location is well away from other camps and it is very discreet. (On the drive in, you will see other camps very close to the road, don't book those) Dinner and breakfast were delicious and our fussy children found the food excellent. We took the additional options of a 4WD transfer in and a sunset camel ride. We count ourselves lucky to have the camp to ourselves for the night, as we booked a Monday evening. The camp manager is very attentive.

Amazing … hospitality was extraordinary. Perfect location … super clean. Food was delicious and hosts were extra friendly … highly recommended… we will definitely be coming back there …

The access to the camp needs a 4*4 vehicle. He managed to schedule the pick-up and drop off on time. I recommand 100% !

Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries. Guests can enjoy a meal at an outdoor dining area at the luxury tent. First of all everybody was super nice, welcoming and friendly. The camp is small (like 6 tents only) so not crowded. You can enjoy silence :) The tents are very clean even if they are in the desert. Each tent has it's own bathroom which is super cool, with shower, toilet, sink and small cleaning stuffs (soap, tooth pasta, etc). I highly recommend to take the breakfast and dinner options they are very delicious and it is very nice to have them surrounded by dunes :) We also took the dune bashing. It was fun. On the second night we had a rainfall. The staff was very kind they brought the dinner into the tent in the middle of the rain. They also checked if the tent is not leaking (wasn't, each tent has a waterproof cover).

Hamed is a kind and gracious host who provided a magical setting and shared his culture with us. Hassan, the camp caretaker is an excellent cook and could not have been kinder.

It is a family run business, created by the father who died only 2 years ago and was a much loved desert conservationist and guide. We were beautifully looked after from the moment of pick up in Muscat by Abdullah for whom no request was too much trouble to our arrival in camp. He acts as the best guide, so you see and experience the very best of Omani hospitality. Rasheed manages the business and Hamid runs the camp very well to maken sure our desert experience is unique. We were lucky to have the whole desert camp to ourselves for the two nights, so we enjoyed private sundowners and stargazing without any interruptions! prompt morning pick-ups took us to a delicious breakfast in the main Nomandic camp. The whole camp has been thoughtfully designed to fit into the landscape with a totally natural feel. The tents are lined in colourful carpets to retain local design feel and comfortable beds. The camp is unique in every way and well worth the adventure. It is completely authentic. The whole team speak excellent english and Abdullah has a terrific sense of humour. We could not recommend a stay there more highly.
