Beautiful house in the middle of the jungle and lovely family. Philippe and Lucie are really welcoming, they take care of their guests , we felt part of their family. We have been lucky because we happened upon to a family dinner with their daughter and her friends. We really appreciate it and Lucie’s food was delicious , she is a great cook. We did the hiking on the back of the house, theirs lovely dogs Noki and Rex showed us the way, the best guides we could had. The room was really big, we had our own private terrace and bathroom. We didn’t have a car, but if you want to explore the island you definitely need your own transportation, Philippe and Lucie can help you with that too.

Our stay at Fare Tokoau was more than wonderful. The owners are very friendly. The cabins are big and practical, with a front porch overlooking the beautiful garden and ocean. We can highly recommend the Alex Lagoon Tour which leaves from Fare Tokoau and whereby you swim with turtles, sting rays, sharks, snorkel between the corals, look for dolphins, etc. (book ahead in high season!). We would definitely come back here.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, my favorite part of the stay! The restaurant is decent, the bungalows are very spacious and clean.

The bungalow was cozy, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. Having a quiet private beach just steps away was a dream. Vaea, the host, is truly amazing - she made me feel right at home and even helped me rent a car on my first day, which made exploring the island so much easier. Thanks to her kindness and attention, my stay was even more special. I absolutely fell in love with Moorea and can’t wait to come back!
