We were well looked after by the whole family, they were lovely and shared lots of their delicious fruits. The accommodation was modern, clean and quiet. There are many places to sit in the gardens, with lovely views of the Mekong. The food was delicious and they catered for our dietary requirements. We decided to do the boat trip which was a great experience, it felt authentic and was peaceful. We would recommend. Overall a memorable stay and one of our highlights in Vietnam.

Originally, we came to this area for one night to relax from the hustle and bustle of Saigon, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying for two nights. The place is truly magical, and you will hardly see any tourists here—only kind, smiling local people and plenty of fruit, especially coconuts. Thuan is a very friendly and caring person. He speaks perfect English, which really helped us to get at least a glimpse of the local culture and way of life, especially during a private trip on the Mekong River, which I highly recommend. The next day, we went on a bike ride and visited a local coconut processing workshop (nothing goes to waste here). One of the most unforgettable moments was when we visited local school children—it was an incredible experience that touched our hearts. Whenever we were hungry, his sister Thuy cooked us excellent Pho or fried spring rolls at her restaurant. We are glad we chose this place and we hope to return here in the future. Also the location is absolutely beautiful, and the meal that you can share every night with the family and the other guests is amazing. If you do visit, I recommend going on a boat tour with them. You will visit the not touristic part of the delta, and do some exciting survival activities, such as climbing the coconut tree, fishing, making a fire, harvesting fruits and swimming. The highlight of my trip to Vietnam!

You get to have a real local experience as not many tourists here The owner, Thai, was absolutely brilliant and helped make my stay extra special, as did his adorable children! I hired a moped which helped me explore that much further than the bikes but the bike rides were also good. I timed it perfectly for the flower markets. Stunning! All the locals were so friendly saying hello as I passed. Totally unexpected but I suppose a single red curly headed female stands out a little. From this experience I'd recommend a homestay.

We were hesitant to book this initially due to remoteness and mosquitoes but the area was beautiful and different and far less mosquitoes than originally anticipated.
