Excellent place to stay in Tirol. Well located, clean and cosy, rooms renovated very recently. They managed to combine modern and traditional aspects, and the place is really cosy. There is also a restaurant, so in the evening you can eat there. Friendly staff.

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

    The house is in a quiet and peaceful location, the apartment is very clean, cozy and well equipped. Handing over the keys takes place without any problems, the host has prepared a tourist card with various discounts on entrances. The apartment has a large terrace with a garden. The host is very helpful and caring and the visitor has 100% privacy during their stay.

    Fantastic place to stay for a ski holidays. Our room was clean and big and quiet, with a great balcony. Breakfasts were fantastic. Very good location - to Itter/Hopfgarden ski lifts 20/25 min by car. Very friendly atmosphere and a well working wifi.
