Gildas, the property manager, was so kind and accommodating. He graciously guided me all the way to the property in the dead of the night, and was extremely helpful during my stay there. The breakfast is also very very good. Definitely a very good place to stop and rest in Grand Popo. Very authentic, very rural African setting

That's the closest thing to paradise you will find in Benin. Perfect location, Sandy beach and amusements. Great personal who will go the extra mile to help. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Comfy rooms, extremely clean and well equipped. Nice terrace in the bungalows and nice breakfast. Very relaxing atmosphere.

    Guesthouse Bambou Beach is located directly on the beach about 10 kms from the center of Grand Popo village. My room had an ocean view, outdoor seating area and ceiling fans (no A/C). Most of the good restaurants in the area are 7-10 kilometers from the hotel, so it's not the best place to stay if you don't have a car. There is no sign on the road indicating the location of the hotel, but the Google address is accurate.
