Apartment was stylish, clean and comfortable. We stayed in two bedroom and had 2 bathrooms as well. We had two reservations in a row (weird that it was not possible to book a whole stay through one reservation) and management let us stay in the same apartment, so we didn’t need to check out and check in again. Overall for Brazil this apartment was very nice.

Enjoy the marvels of a prison you could, theoretically, leave anytime. Enclose the shadows of your childhood memories alongside your dreams in an Amazon delivered safe, as box150 would never provide anything for free, not even toilet paper. hold tight onto the image of the your paradise lost, as once you move into a cell of box150, the world outside your front door is too unwelcoming to bear. be confronted by dozens of cameras, with their displays exhibited proudly at the front gate; bird-cage-inspired interior design and furniture; a single washer and dryer that you need to juggle your patience with through an infuriating app you need to turn your wallet inside out to use. the sliding glass door is not motion-sensor-automatic, but opened by a discount-store-bought-county-prison-guard leaning back in someone's spare gaming chair; box 150 cannot detect movement at all, for there are no signs of life to be seen. the space is true gray matter: dead. made somehow even more eerie by a depressing closed-off collection of sprinkler-fed vaguely tropical leafy plants split by a faux walk-way that has never felt the press of a human foot. some say that plants can grow in response to emotion and sound waves; the garden of box 150 must be hand-picked psychopaths to survive surrounded by an echoy chamber of featureless cement walls, steel bars and 7 floors of identical touch-screen-passcode-locked cells with only a foggy blanket of angst and misery emanating from within. the world outside the box might be at times, big and scary, but the interior of this building is truly terrifying. the waves of silent frustration and contemptful beeping bouncing off this unmarked, untouched, unloved prison architecture is enough to drive anyone into madness. how the residents of box 150 live in this contemporary-hell-scape erected by irrational fear of THE OUTSIDE is a true mystery for our time.
