We hired a scooter from a local rental company (Rino’s is best) which allowed us easy access to this stunning property, located in one of the most amazing parts of the island! The house is modern, clean, quiet, and has stunning views. We watched whales from the deck, ate pawpaw fresh from the trees. Our hosts (Simon and Ura) picked us up from the airport and saw us off at the end. Their hospitality during our stay was amazing. They remained in contact to make sure we were happy and assisted us with local recommendations and bookings as well. Absolutely recommend.

Katrina the daughter of the owners was absolutely unbelievable. There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

Cheran and her mum, were super hosts and managers of the Tai Roto Bay Resort. We were greeted at the airport with big smiles and beautiful personalities. Arriving at our beachfront villa took our breath away at the sight of the lagoon right out front. Welcome to Paradise. Villas was gorgeous, clean and bed super comfy with a yummy breakfast delivered daily and very private. Great local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

We booked the budget room and although it was budget, it was extremely comfortable. Location was great; not in the heart of the island but the lagoon nearby was a bonus for swimming. Two restaurants close by + a great cafe. We were also able to visit the "private island" across the lagoon for cocktails and meals.

The location is stunning, right on a lagoon, walk out of your room and straight into the water, the rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds, the kitchen has your basic setup which is ideal as you are out most of the time on the island. There is aircon which cools down the room in the evening to help you get to sleep and stay comfortable.

A perfect location on the island. Very quite and remote spot. The apartment was spotless clean and equipped with everything you need to self accommodate. We mostly enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and went out for lunch or dinner. The accommodation manger came by everyday to check if everything was ok. Thanks a lot for the assistance! AC was working properly. We hadn’t had any problems at all. Would recommend getting a rental car or scooter.
