The owners were very welcoming. The hotel is right across from the river with a nice view, although you can hear the street noise sometimes, it was not disruptive. It is a pleasant 2 km walk along the river to the next town which is very quaint with a Monastery, a castle and plenty of restaurants and wine bars. Also some very scenic hikes starting right outside the door. The breakfast room is open throughout the day to gather with friends and/or drink some wine purchased from the hotel. Breakfast had all the fixings of a continental breakfast and worth the cost.

This place is one of those little gems that you can’t believe you have found. The location is amazing. Just a short walk over the bridge and you are in the little village of Cochem. The bed is extremely comfortable. The view is absolutely spectacular. We love being in this place and will certainly come again. The host was very helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. Thank you very much for having us. We highly recommend this little gem.

Super beautiful appartement (can be used as a permanent house with all facilities you need). Also a very friendly host who takes the time to explain everything and is proud of his appartement! Private parking is in front of the building. The view towards the Moselle river and Castle is stunning. Cochem itself is a great place to explore (in 3 days) :-)
