The apartment is brand new and modern, with many digitally operated features. There was most of what one required. Parking was free but on the road. We received a pleasant introduction from the host, who also carried a bit of luggage upstairs. We could walk into town to view the many lovely buildings.

Auguststadt-Residenz is situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood very close to the city centre (600 m to Schlossplatz; in Wolfenbüttel everything is within walking distance), in the middle of the picturesque Auguststadt district. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshly ground coffee and the machine for filtered coffee, it was very nice of the hosts. I appreciated that there was a table and chairs in the room. I positively appreciate the possibility of hassle-free parking next to the house. WiFi connection (password provided; no registration) was reliable and fast. For people planning a longer stay, it is good to know that the nearest supermarkets are Aldi (800 m) and Rewe (1.2 km).

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Besondere Ferienwohnung in Königslutter am Elm features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi.
