There were four of us just coming off the trail after four days and we got a small room together with two bunk beds. The staff were nice and we ate all of our meals there which were great. The showers and bathrooms were great. Everything was super clean and it was so worth the money.

Posada de Valdeón is a great little town in a fantastic location. It has far fewer people (though also services) than places like Potes or Cangas, but we much preferred it to the larger places. It's right inside the national park and there are loads of walking trails very nearby. We left the valley a couple of times, but didn't really need to.

I was looked after wonderfully and I loved my stay here. It was everything I expected it to be and more. An excellent position for hiking in the area, a hearty meal in the evening, a convivial atmosphere, relaxed and comfortable, warm and friendly. Rooms are basic, bathrooms shared, door handles noisy, whiich is part of its charm and good value for money. Sergio chatted to me in my home language English and gave great advice about the hikes, their timing, and general area information. As I say, really enjoyed these few days. Thank you Hostal Poncebos

A fantastic place with stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, tasty food and comfortable beds. Did I list everything? Our stay was exceptional and we couldn't be more happy to have found this place literally last minute. Totally recommend to have breakfast and dinner - it's a great value for money as you get a decent choice of dishes including local cuisine. The hotel is dog friendly and it really shows - there were a few families, including us, with their furry friends walking around. Go for it!

    Excellent service, unbeatable location. Rooms are small and slightly old but more than sufficient for our needs, and they have everything you require. Run by the sweetest couple with a cute son Erik. Loved our stay here - can’t recommend it enough, along with the Ruta del Cares hike (a must do)!

    Great location close to the trail and other restaurants, family-feel, friendly hosts when sighted, restaurant attached (although it wasn't open because it was Monday), cheap price.
