    Le Chardon is wonderful, nestled in the quiet and safe small village of Chardonnay, famous by name but quite unknown. Warm welcome by Sophie and family, very nice after the long drive. Very cozy atmosphere. Comfortable beds and shower, everything was very clean. It still has the historical atmosphere, with the modern comforts. 16th century wooden floors! High point were the delicious steaks and crème brûlée made by Sophie. Needless to say, best glass of Chardonnay ever.
