I slept in the hostel a few weeks after its opening. The building itself is already amazing (because it is located into an old building well renovated). The breakfast was super tasty. I traveled a lot around Europe and probably this is the best hotel I have never slept in.

I am satisfied with everything. The hostess is very responsive. The location is excellent. Old town max 10 minutes walk. Next to one of the best bakeries in town with incredibly delicious cakes. City public transport runs. Very comfortable mattress and cleanliness everywhere. Definitely recommend.

The location was fantastic, 6 minutes walk from Eurostar. The property was outstanding. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host greeted us and showed us to the room. On request they also gave us suggestions for restaurants which we used and was perfect.

We loved staying in this beautifully restored house and appreciated the detail that has gone into the lovely furnishing's and decor. The hosts were just delightful and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast which was sourced from local places. We highly recommend La Villa Barbieux as a place to stay.
