The Applecross Inn nearby is a good solution for drinks and food. The male receptionist was friendly and helpful! The ensuite shower and toilet had sufficient space. The location is beautiful. I ordered a breakfast for the next morning, 2 coissants, cheese, jam, butter, and orange juice for £5, all ready to pick up from 7.45 onwards. Rooms are basic but very clean and have what you need. Shower rooms were nice and clean with plenty of hot water. I used the laundry to wash and dry done clothes, all worked well and well priced. Everything there was great. One of us had single room. The room was good. The heating was great. The hostel was very clean. The sterilization for crockery and cutlery is a great idea. The kitchen and dining area is huge and comfortable. There is plenty of parking. The location is lovely and isolated. We stayed in a private room with a bathroom. It seemed to have loads of facilities for walkers and bikers. The room was lovely and warm and very clean. The shared bathroom was modern and very clean and my single room perfectly comfortable. The lady on reception ( April?) was brilliant, very helpful and great to deal with. I loved the location , it was a holiday destination in itself, with stunning scenery, highland cattle , beautiful trees and forest and only a short walk to the coastline with views to Isle of Skye.
