I found myself very welcome by Ellie and the house is super comfy! The breakfast was so tasty and home cooked! I had a very pleasant stay, relaxing. The house has everything, classic style with very good decor taste mixed with comfort! Cosy and warm! We had the most wonderful staycation at Bowood and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff, food and facilities were all so fantastic. We saw so much wildlife while enjoying a coffee on the terrace, which added even more magic to our stay. We will be back for sure.

Lovely friendly staff & management, very hospitable, felt like they genuinely wanted us to be as comfortable as possible & enjoy our stay. The food, decor, vibe & cleanliness all v good (& the shower better than ours at home). Feels like a lot of heart goes into this hotel. Will deffo return If back in that area in future.

    A lovely proper country pub with rooms. In a perfect quiet location. The bed was better than a lot of 5 star hotels we have stayed in, so comfortable. Our room was spacious , very clean and we had a great view of the countryside. Breakfast was great too.

    Very friendly staff. My dog was well catered for and delighted that she was allowed to sit with me when having my evening meal. Room was nice and large. Plenty of room for multiple dogs. Plenty of parking space. Ideal location for travelling to Bath and surrounding areas. I would definitely stay here again.

    Extremely friendly staff, welcoming and easy going, great car parking, easy to find. Busy with predominantly young clientele, excellent bar. No food available on a Sunday evening which is fair enough, but no breakfast on Monday morning which as a disappointment. Room spotless and spacious, good shower, but very basic-no bedside lights for example. Also the internet was unworkable from my room. Overall though, great value for money, ideal if you just want somewhere to sleep for the night, friendly and clean.
