The whole experience form checking in, delicious evening snacks with a drink in the outdoor beer garden, helpful and friendly staff, great cooked breakfast right through checking out was a fantastic experience. Room was spacious and clean. Surrounding walks were lovely too.

Very quirky! Lovely and warm. A few essentials were a nice touch- milk, tea, coffee etc. Room was spotless! Bed was Uber comfy. Communication from the owners was excellent and friendly!

Wow this was a top little find. There is nothing the host hasn’t thought of. And the lovely gifts around the apartment for us on arrival were fabulous. The cleaning was impeccable and the whole house had literally everything you thing you would need. It was cozy and very comfortable as well as quiet. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Parking is very easy to find on the side street and very close to house.

These people are the most kind, generous and accommodating hosts imaginable. Through travel mishaps and changed flight times, we arrived late and had to leave early but someone was there for us with a smile and a kind word. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. The breakfast was incredible, the room was adorable and immaculate, the grounds are beautiful, the whole area is spectacular. Other hotels and inns should send their people to The Family Tree to see the proper way to care for guests.

    The property was very clean and homely. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need for everyday essentials for a short stay. Complimentary wine and chocs were left which was a really sweet. Folder with all instructions/ manuals were left and information of the local area/ places to visit. The property is in a central location to all the sites to visit in a lovely village.

    The location was perfect for us. The cottage was very clean, with milk in the fridge for a much needed cup of tea. The view from the lounge was like a picture postcard. It was very cosy and we enjoyed playing the card games provided in the evenings.
