The rooms were above a pub but it wasn’t noisy. Really comfortable spacious room with extra large double bed & lovely walk-in shower. tea/instant coffee & kettle in room. Had a nice meal in the pub in the evening with good service. Close to the famous 8-sailed windmill. Parking was in a pub car park that could not be pre-reserved, but there were plenty of spaces.

The cottage fitted the description very well. It was cosy and comfortable and in a great location, very central but hidden away so even native Sleafordians didn’t know it existed. We loved the little touches like biscuits, chocolates and milk that were provided. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well as it was very quiet, the only noise coming from the birds. I loved that there was an en-suite toilet as well as a bathroom so we didn’t have to venture downstairs in the middle of the night. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We want to stay again so that says it all!

Beautifully renovated and decorated hostel. There’s also a nice cafe, art and craft shop and a nice garden. Lovely and professional staff, especially Sue who is taking such good care of her guests from morning until late evening.

Lovely quaint little pub in a peaceful location, the room was a good size, very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable, bathroom was a good size with a large walk in shower and very clean. Breakfast was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms were located within the pub it really was very quiet, added bonus is they have a restaurant which serves really tasty food so no need to go looking for places to eat as there isn't anything close by so you would need transport to go anywhere, stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and we throughly enjoyed it, we could have stayed longer, we would definitely recommend staying here.

    Good location, friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere. Good food menu...popular with locals. The room was very well equipped with modern appliances (an oscillating air cooler was very welcome), excellent selection of refreshments, comfortable bed, and lovely spacious bathroom with walk-in shower.
