We stayed at the hotel and also booked a family function - the staff were extremely helpful and it was even better than anticipated. I have seen negative comments about the hotel desk not being manned at all times but the staff went out of their way to ensure we knew when they were leaving and asking if we needed anything. The area is so peaceful - we loved sitting on the terrace listening to the birdsong.

Absolutelly everything, the host was the most warm and attentive person. The whole place was impeccable, with all the amenities you could need and really comfortable.     Amazing place to stay! Place was spotless and had everything you needed. Loved the coal fire. Son loved the fact he had the whole upstairs to himself and his own wee livingroom area. Would highly recommend!
