    The bed was comfortable, and the steak and ale pie for dinner was excellent. The hotel is in an ideal location for those wanting to explore Fort Dunned (the ancient Gaelic capital), and has neolithic burial cairns and standing stones either within walking distance or a very short drive away. The Kilmartin Museum is directly opposite.

    Warm welcome, lovely host, lots of local tips and information, secure storage for our bikes, stunning location, comfortable and spotless room and bathroom and very generous and yummie breakfast. The packed lunch was just as generous and yummie.

    The location was excellent. We were nearby everything we wanted to see. The guest house was spotless and our host Lynn was lovely. Our breakfasts were continental but plenty of everything and all very fresh.

    Excellent location for visiting Kilmartin and central Argyll. Wildlife in the garden just outside the dining room window was exceptional with pine martens, red squirrel, bats and many birds seen. Very friendly and helpful owner who gave us suggestions for our stay. Nice breakfast with plenty of fruit. Room was very clean, shower was excellent.
