    The location right near the river. The cottage was amazing .Stuart was so helpful and the Welcome pack was the best we have ever had Manningtree is a lovely little town.

    Was a last minute booking as we needed a place for the night and couldn’t have picked anything better, staff were very friendly and helpful.Room was very clean, bed comfortable would have stayed longer but they were booked pity.

    The cooked breakfast was very nice though this is not included in room price (which i would expect at this price). The bedroom was spacious and comfortable Convenient location in the centre of Manningtree and backing onto the riverside. Good outside seating area at back of pub overlooking the river. Friendly staff.

    The location was great, loads of lovely walks and pretty villages in the surrounding area. The property has been really well refurbished and has been tastefully decorated to give a homely feel. Parking on the drive was a great convenience. The hosts were very helpful and got straight back to us when we messaged.

    Great location. Lovely decor, design and layout with nicely separated bathroom/toilet area away from main bedroom. Very clean. Warm, friendly reception. We were unaware we booked the same day as Manningtree Christmas Fair so that was a lovely surprise as it brought such a lively atmosphere and lots of stalls, and extra food and drink stands that wouldn’t otherwise have been in town. We already booked to have dinner at the Crown.
