Brilliant staff. Great location. Great room (with king bed), but the breakfast! OMG that breakfast!!! I would go again, pay the nightly fee and sleep on the street outside if that breakfast were included. No seriously ... what a brilliant place to stay in Chester. Superb value. 100% we will be returning.

everything from start to finish it was perfect! it was so clean!! we had everything we needed! the bed was comfortable, they even provided throws so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery as well. there is heating included, there is hot water (which was the perfect temperature and pressure)! even the towels smelt so fresh! Can not fault it at all!!! we even got little chocolate bars, milk, tea and coffee and for a small cost was an ice cold Prosecco in the fridge.

Great location for the train station and getting into Chester city centre. Very comfortable place, plenty of room and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen in particular was very well equipped. A nice touch was having milk, cereal, tea and coffee provided too. The host was very friendly and responded promptly to messages and was very helpful.

    Room was spotlessley clean, spacious and with a lovely view of the gardens. We ate in the Nelson restaurant for dinner and the Palm Court ~Restaurant for breakfast. Both were excellent quality and friendly staff.

    it is so peaceful here, such a quiet location and there is no noise disturbance from the corridor or other rooms, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the room was too. The Spa has everything you need and the breakfast probably had the best quality full English serving I've had in a long time - we will definitely be back

    The hotel and room was beautiful! Had everything we needed, was really comfortable, and was in an ideal location for visiting chester centre and accessing the motorway to get elsewhere. We had breakfast each morning and dinner on the first night in the palm Court restaurant which was beautiful with a great selection and surroundings.
