Perfect location on Rye High Street, staff were very welcoming and allowed us to check-in early as room was ready. Large room comfy bed and pillows. Great night sleep and really good breakfast. You get to choose from the restaurant brunch menu that the rooms are above. All in all a great experience

After a bit of a confusion, the host (Johnny) reacted very quickly and went great lengths to make sure that we were fine and satisfied. There was local pub at walking distance (through a pretty path),with great food and friendly staff. Johnny even set up the wood for us to light a fire after the evening meal. It was a very special evening! Thank you!

    All the little touches were very much appreciated. The size of the garden was a surprise and would provide a peaceful spot to enjoy with a book. The car park is close by so is a pub and a cafe. We loved our walks the highlight of which was seeing a Barn Owl. Just loved the location. Winchelsea is well worth a visit.

    The location is perfect for exploring the nature reserve . Leave your car and visit the lovely pub and great visitor centre . There are loads of flat walks and its a Mecca for bird lovers . The inside of the hut is beautifully done , very clean and warm with a few goodies left by the hosts .
