I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in a small village on the south side of Rhodes, Greece. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made my stay exceptional. The room was stunning, clean, and beautifully decorated. The hotel’s restaurant served delicious and affordable local dishes, making every meal a delight. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone visiting Rhodes!

My stay exceeded my wildest expectations! The apartment was incredibly clean, cozy and fully equipped. I lacked nothing. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly. The location was perfect. Just as we expected from the photos, a beautifully decorated old stone house with pretty outside area, very comfortable big bed, and good kitchen and a welcome natural cooling breeze through the windows. Thoughtful supplies of fruit, home made jam and local wine awaited us.

We were looking for some ‘real Greece’ and found it at Mannas house. The building had so much character- beautiful and efficient. We were given home made cake and the fridge was stocked with wine , water, bread and lovely coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs and spices. Amazing. We were met by them at the airport which was a great comfort- travelling as we were with 2 children- 7 and 2 yes old.

It is a mix of authentic and modern where you can experience what it was like to live in a Greek stone house and at the same time have modern comfort. The house is very clean, you will feel like home as owners have thought about every tiny detail that you might need. The privacy is guaranteed, it's very calm at night, also, you will have a private yard where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee with various snacks and fruits (yes, we found lots of delicious stuff in the big fridge, It was a very nice surprise for us!). The owners of the house George and Julia are the people that you will meet only once in a life time! The attentiveness and care, warm welcome (Julia's cake was amazing!) and detailed presentation about the house made us feel like we are in a history meuseum where a super friendly guide is telling a story who has lived here before and what old parts of the house were kept and restored. The Embonas village where the house is located is such a gem! People are friendly, always smiling and saying hi, we even watched football game with the locals on Saturday evening as they have a football stadium here! You will find Greek tavernas, bakery, Gyro barbecue place (not only authentic Greek food but also amazing pizzas!), it is worth driving here if you want to feel the real Greek spirit and avoid touristy places, at the same time it is very easy to reach any part of the island from here. Big thank you to George and Julia who made our stay unforgetable and once again proved that Greek people are one of a kind!

This is a beautiful house in a small mountain village with very friendly owners and neighbors. The house is complete and new. The quality is excellent and it is very clean. In short a great place to stay, esp if you want to be in a calm village. The two single beds were just fine. We suspect that the double bed could be even better.

    Good location for walking and swimming as in mountainous forest with 15 minute drive to beach. Friendly staff. Balcony with exceptional views. Woke up at 6am in the morning due to noises coming from the abandoned property just under balcony to find a herd of wild deer foraging in the vegetation. A beautiful memory as they finally all galloped off into the nearby forest.

    A gorgeous hotel in a lovely quiet village in the beautiful mountains of Rhodes! We loved our stay here. We were treated so well and felt truly relaxed. Our room was well decorated and very clean. The breakfast is not to be missed! And dinner was also delicious. A wonderful stay, we will be back!

    Stunning area - The Breakfast was amazing. The only distraction was the music being played in the restaurant area, could also be heard while you were sitting on the balcony of your room. Other than that its an amazing hotel in an ideal location
