Barbara was very welcoming and left us a lovely scone package. The house was fab with a table outside that was perfect for eating and drinking in the sun. The kitchen was so spacious and we had a great time cooking our meals together. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We will defo come back!

A home from home. Beautiful location and idyllic cottage. Evenings by the fire, animals in the day. Chickens, Ponies, Ducks, and the GOAT. Poppy and Pippa the Pooches. My granddaughter loved the farm and feeding the chickens. Great hosts made us feel at home. Cannot recommend Cob Cottage enough. Perfect for a relaxing few days with family and friends. Mary was fab. She prepared a lovely takeaway breakfast for us as we had to leave very early in the morning. She also recommended Kilmore Quay to us as a place to eat which is a great seaside location. Amazing house too!!!! 👍😎

This was our second visit to Ambrose Mews and Mary. It really is a beautiful house, welcoming and spotless. Our en-suite room was large and very comfortable. The choice for breakfast was endless and all cooked to order, nothing is too much trouble for her. Mary Barry's Seafood Restaurant in Kilmore is first class but you do need to book early. A walk around Kilmore Quay was a good finish to a perfect stay at Ambrose Mews.

Such a lovely place to stay, Mary who owns the guest house is a wonderful host. The house is spotlessly clean and the rooms first class. There was ample safe parking for our motorcycle. Breakfast was fantastic and really sets you up for the day.

The breakfast was beautifully cooked and there was plenty of everything. The property was lavishly and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal, only 10 mins from kilmore quay. The owner was a thorough lady. She could not have been more helpful nor more welcoming.

Lovely peaceful location. Beautiful home and absolutely spotless. Very welcoming owner and her son.. would definitely recommend this lovely accomodation but it would not be suitable if you wanted restaurant or shop within walking distance. We look forward to booking here again on our next visit and will recommend it to others.
