A cute little b&b in the centre of Kilrush. A great base for if heading on to Doonbeg like we were. The food here is just on another level. It was such a joy to sit and talk to the owners over breakfast and none of our requests were too much trouble for them. If ever back in Kilrush, we will be staying here for sure 😊

Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. This place was absolutely stunning! From our first step into the house until the last breakfast, everything was great. The room was cozy and perfectly clean and we appreciated daily room service. We slept like babies :) what more could you wish for on a holiday? Maybe just that amazing omelette and pancakes for breakfast. I believe I will return to Kilkee one day and visit Moineir house again. Thank you!

Very large room, fully equiped. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast reach and delicious. Only 10 min walking distance from city center, 20 min from beach. Host is very nice, helpful and provided detailed information about possiblities for sightseeing.
