Our stay at this resort was nothing short of amazing—an experience we’ll always remember. Beyond the excellent facilities, it was the warmth and professionalism of the staff across every department that truly stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Our heartful thanks to Mr Anumon for the wonderful support. We originally booked for just one night but were so impressed with the service and atmosphere that we extended our stay by another day. Perfect place to escape busy and crowded city and enjoy quiet village atmosphere. Paradise for birdwatchers. Breakfast was good, and there are two restaurants nearby. I would recommend the nearest one (Lake N Cruise). The food is simple and cheap, and it's a perfect spot to enjoy magic sunsets at 6 pm. It is also easy to reach Kumarakom center and bird sanctuary (tuk-tuk 150 rupees one way). Early morning backwater boat ride for three hours though small canals was something special. And many thanks for sincere hospitality to the hosts, who were super friendly and helpful. Overall 10+!

The breakfast was good and all the dishes we ordered at the restaurant were fresh and tasty. And the rooms were nice. We stayed at the stream villas. They were spacious and there was a sofa bed in all the rooms that helped to increase the occupancy capacity in a single villa, without needing an extra bed. There were many activities like badminton, table tennis, archery, cycling, outdoor pool, etc. They also arranged a boat on demand to do one-hour boating in the backwaters. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at BirdScapes Homestay. We were warmly welcomed by Abin and his family, who cooked great meals for us and took us on boat trips. The room is very confortable and has a nice view on the backwaters. We are grateful to have had the chance to stay here for two nights and strongly recommend!

The activities and schedule during our stay were arranged according to our requests, which made the three days very fulfilling and memorable. The sunrise cruise was not only to enjoy the backwater cruise, but also to see and understand local lifestyles, as they showed us around the farmland according to our interests and let us see and taste the local coconut brew. The food was really tasty and well arranged based on our requirements and the cooking class was enjoyable. We really enjoyed our packaged stay for three days. We appreciate the friendly staff for coordinating our wonderful stay package. We were fortunate enough to find Little Chembaka among the countless hotels in Alleppey.

I spent a very relaxing two nights on the houseboat, spending the first day travelling south and spending the night next to the rice paddy islands, then the second day returning along the other coastline. The food was consistently fantastic, with absolutely massive portions 😅
