Fabulous! This has to be one of the best, if not the best, hostel that I stayed in during my travels. I do not know where to begin in terms of describing just how amazing my overall experience was. The hostel is only a month or so old so everything is, as one would expect, brand new. Setback from the road you're away from the noise and traffic and yet still only a 5minute walk to the bustling cliff area. The dorm rooms are a good size with comfy beds, privacy curtains and individual lockers. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely chill out area upstairs with a well appointed kitchen where you can either cook for yourself or buy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner for around RPS150. The garden is a delight to sit in and isn't really overlooked either. What makes this place complete are the brilliant team; huge thanks to Vikram and Pintu who made me feel so welcome and provided so much fun and laughter. Book it now before it's too late!

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! I stayed in the non-sea-view room at Shoonya and it felt truly luxurious — One specific detail I liked was their bed. The best part was the open-roof shower — showering under the sky was amazing. They don’t offer meals yet, but I’m excited to try their food when it starts. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay

Wonderful guesthouse near the cliff in Varkala - only 5 minutes away from the cliff but nevertheless it is a very quiet place. The rooms are spacious and super clean, they beds are cosy, the bathrooms are spacious too and well-equipped and every room has a kettle, tea and coffee sachets and 2 bottles of filtered water. Every room also has a nice terrace or balcony facing the lovely garden of the property. There is a laundry service and the host is a super nice woman, who helps with everything you need or could wish for. I had an absolute wonderful time there and can't wait to be back! Thank you Mango Villa!
