This is a marvellous place to stay while hiking along the Via Francigena. The facilities are new and beautifully designed and maintained. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely dinner in the downstairs bar in the evening and a great breakfast in the morning. The location is very beautiful, with wonderful views. Highly recommended.!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, at the same time- a modern and comfortable place, very easy to get to- it's a perfect location. It's in the mountains not far from the motorway which joins Parma with La Specia and all the picturesque Italian towns on the Adriatic coast. It's just 1 hour drive from the hotel to the seaside. But! Neither crowds, nor noisy parties - you just hear birds singing and the sound from a mountain river. For us, Ukrainians, it was incredibly relaxing before coming back to Kyiv. I would especially like to thank all the staff. They were so warm and friendly to us, even though we were so bad at understanding how to combine local Italian dishes))) which were exceptionally tasty. The restaurant is superb! The room is impeccably clean. If we are in Italy again, we will definitely return here.

This hotel was just fantastic!! Utentic mediviele athmosphere with great thinking of every detail. Dont compromise and take the suite!! We wanted to get the feel of the renesans days and there is no other place to feel it than here. We just fell in love for the hotel and the city itslef. What a wonderful find. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was spacious, clean and it was clear that the recent renovation of the entire property was a labour of love. The restaurant right next door to the property (closed on Sundays) was obviously very popular with the locals and provided a wide selection of local wines and authentic Italian cuisine. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a touch of real elegance in a rural Italian setting.
