Cheap hotels in Ichinoseki

The Suzukis are wonderful hosts! The traditional japanese room is big and spacious, and while no bath is available on premise, Mr. Suzuki drove me to both a public bathhouse and local restaurant in the evenings. Mrs. Suzuki had a very large and delicious japanese meal cooked up for breakfast. The pair were even kind enough to help me plan out my trip around the local area after breakfast! Located a short walk away from Hiraizumi station and an even shorter walk to the nearby Mōtsū-ji, I highly recommend Minpaku Suzuki to anyone interested in staying in Hiraizumi! Will definitely be planning another stay!

The guesthouse is localed a shot walk away from the JR station and a stone throw away from the temple. The owners are a lovely couple and they will make you feel at home. They also gave me great suggestions for sightseeing and dinner. The room is traditional and large. Bathing facilities are new and spotless. Breakfast was prepared with care.

Great renovated hotel, everything is very clean and new. The rooms are big, with a mix of traditional Japanese and modern design. The view was beautiful. The onsen is tattoo-friendly and the staff is very kind. Short 5 min taxi drive from Hiraizumi station or there's a bus that drops you very close. We didn't know what to expect when we booked but it was a great value for money.
