Breakfast was excellent. Great selection of food. Location beautiful near temple and ocean. Staff was very nice. Within walking distance from station. Perfect hotel for couples. It’s not super modern or high-tech but has a charming atmosphere.

The room size. It was huge, the biggest room we've ever had in Japan. It was more like an apartment, and included a living area, dining area and a kitchenette. It was such good value for money. It came with Yukatas and the onsen was not crowded at all. The staff were really helpful with our luggage forwarding. A really lovely stay.

The room was more like a suite with a separate living room and twin bedroom. Our main purpose was to play golf so it being attached to the clubhouse was a real bonus. The baths were open until 10pm and very nice.

The beach right in front of the room is incredibly calm and pristine — truly a hidden gem. While public transportation and shops are limited, that’s probably part of why the area remains so beautifully preserved. The host was exceptionally welcoming and even kindly offered me a bicycle to go to the supermarket, so I could get groceries and enjoy cooking just like at home.

Ume no Kaori is a beautiful old (with modern amenities and very comfortable) house very near the ocean. The property and location are both great. There was more than enough room for our family of 5. We only booked one night but wish we had stayed longer. Would highly recommend it.

Our accommodation was a semi-detached house in a group of two, with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms on the first floor, all with nice wooden floors. There is plenty of space inside, plus a lovely terrace and a small garden outside. The house is located on a hill with a view of the valley. The driveway to the upper houses is steep and includes a 180-degree turn. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was contactless and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which are perfect for longer stays. All in all, it’s a very nice accommodation surrounded by nature that invites you to stay longer.

It was a lovely stay at guesthouse kenken. The house is run by a couple that takes amazing care of their guest, they make you feel right at home! Its a traditional japanese house and very clean. They have a kitchen available and a beautiful little terrace, also a pick up service to and from hota train station. The town of hota is small but very beautiful and peaceful. You can do many activities in the area, for example hike the mountain that is right next door, with a beautiful view over the coast. And the sunset with a view of Mt. Fuji ist just magical. I can only recommend that you visit this guest house when you are in the area. Thank you again for the amazing service and I really enjoyed my stay here :)
