Truly a memorable stay. Cho-San was a most gracious and engaging host (he also speaks very well English); the place is beautifully and smartly done, all very thoughtful and caring. Left looking forward to going back; a good example of why I love travelling in Japan.

Very helpful and friendly owner. Excellent shower facility with various cosmetics. Kitchen with microoven, toaster and ample supply of forks, knives, tea and coffee. Very quiet place. 10 minutes walk to Kosanji, 1 minute to Shotengai (main street with shopping and restaurants.). Just 2 minutes to obachan shop selling the best and the cheapest lemons and mikans (if you buy close to Kosanji you will pay 100%-200% more). Excellent price for value.

The location is beautiful, though marred slightly by the sights of cranes and construcion occupying half the lovely view outside the window. This is cheap, for such a lovely spot amongst all the best Onomichi sights. Easy to access, with friendly staff.
